PRM Board Meetings, Why You Should Attend

Apr 11, 2023 | Customer Service, Self-Improvement

Since Public Risk Management of FL was established in 1987, we’ve endeavored to lead the industry by offering the membership best-in-class coverage, service, and educational opportunities. Part of that education is the PRM Board Meetings.

Like any other public entity in Florida, board meetings are essential to conducting business for the pool. In addition to offering networking opportunities and education on timely topics, these meetings provide a forum for the membership to present their points of view on various matters and, most importantly, vote on matters of significance to the pool.

You may wonder what you can do to get the most out of the board meetings. First, plan to be in attendance, especially if you’re a voting board member or alternate board member. Having a quorum ensures there’s enough representation present before any changes are voted on. Second, be engaged. We are always looking to improve the service and products we provide to the membership, so feedback is always welcomed. Questions and comments, while not required, are always welcomed. Third, feel free to follow up on any of the topics discussed at the board meeting. If you have any questions post-meeting, don’t hesitate to get in touch with PRM or WRM staff for a more detailed explanation of the topics discussed.

Please note if you’ve had any changes to your board member or alternate board member, please notify Mary Ann Whitney at mwhitney@prm-fl.com.

We hope to see you at the meetings in April!
